Plasma Pen Eye Treatment

When you are done with plasma pen eye treatment, you will apply a topical anaesthetic cream to the treated skin area. I target my eye area, so I put a few coats of numbing cream on my upper and lower lids. The procedure can be a little tingling, so make sure you have enough numbing cream to relieve the pain. After the surgery, I didn't feel any pain at all. As bad as the picture is, but not painful at all.

Plasma Pen Fibroblast

The rejuvenation device never kissed my skin, but the tingling of every fibroblast was uncomfortable but doable.

Downtime depends largely on the overall health of your skin, how you feel about being away from home, and the area being treated. For example, the plasma pen fibroblast can significantly improve the eye patch, but usually a day or two of swelling can reduce vision through edema, which makes driving or reading more challenging until it goes away. Not everyone is a candidate, so it's a good idea to review contraindications. Selecting the right person for this treatment is a team activity - both the patient and the treatment provider want to be committed to achieving the best possible outcome.

Plasma Pen Eye Lift

Postoperative care is critical to achieving the best possible outcome. After your visit, you'll see a series of little dots listing each one that should not be disturbed, allowing itself to fall off (usually within 7 days). It is recommended that you relax on the day of your visit and avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours. You may want to cover the treated area with any makeup, sunscreen or powder until these scabs retract (except as recommended by the supplier), but don't! Remember, a brand new skin will grow underneath before it's ready to see the elements, which is something to pamper! It's all about the healing process. Swelling can be common and can last longer in some people than in others - expect it to be 1-2 days, but it can also last a long time.

In all cases, I say SPF 40 or higher, 365 per day, inside out. After all, sunscreen is the only anti-aging ingredient we have to protect our skin. "That's a lot to remember, although after-skin care instructions are provided in written or electronic form, so if you forget what to do or don't do, the most convenient help is at hand!"

Plasma Pen Healing Day By Day:

It is normal for the treated skin area to feel tight and dry. Small scabs (scabs) form quickly. The scab is formed during processing and is clearly visible. For some patients, this may be why they feel the need to take more time away from social or lifestyle activities. This is what we call "social downtime." You cannot go back to work for any medical reason, but you may feel uncomfortable. The scab usually falls off on days 7-14. Once these spots are released, these tissues are vulnerable to UV rays, so it's important to restore a high-quality sunscreen at this time. Teri Scott told me, "If hyperpigmentation or hypopigmentation occurs, it may subside on its own after 1-2 skin cycles (about every 6 weeks), or microneedling may help restore evenness sex."

Do not remove scabs, as this will delay the healing process and may cause scarring.

Treated areas can be cleaned daily with warm water and a soft, lint-free cloth. You are just removing excess oil, you do not need to thoroughly cleanse the treated skin.

Do not soak directly under a hot shower or shower head for 3 to 5 days. This may increase swelling.

Avoid shaving on the treated area until fully healed.

If you have had treatment around your eyes, you should avoid wearing contact lenses for 1 week after treatment, as pulling the skin will break the scab.

When the scab comes off, your skin may be a little pink because it's fresh, fresh skin. This pink will fade in as little as 2 weeks to a few months. In rare cases, recovery can take up to 6 months.

Once the scabs are all gone, you can use your normal foundation/makeup, but avoid skincare products that contain glycolic acid or any other active exfoliating ingredients as this can cause irritation.

You should never use a sauna or tanning bed during the healing period of 10-12 weeks, preferably longer. Avoid midday sun.

All other facials should be avoided in the same area while the skin is healing.

Is a Plasma Pen Worth It?

As far as my eyes go, I. My neck definitely looks better. It's been five weeks and I can see an improvement in one line of the neck we treated. My eyes haven't seen any improvement yet, but I have to be patient. I'll have to wait 13 weeks to see the results, so I'll post again after that.
